Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms on May 13! We hope that you all had a fabulous day! I worked on Mother's Day, but Matt and I were thankful that we were both able to talk to our moms on the phone :-)
On Thursday, May 17, we celebrated my 24th birthday. I had to work all night on the 16th so I spent most of my birthday sleeping! I had to work on the 17th at 11pm but Matt and I had enough time to go out to dinner (at Noodles and Company) and dessert (frozen yogurt at Orange Leaf). Matt also started a Pandora bracelet for me. A Pandora bracelet is a charm bracelet that you add all sorts of little beads to. I have been joking with him that he should never again have to wonder what to get me for a birthday/anniversary/etc...all he has to do is add a bead to my bracelet!
On Sunday, May 19, Matt and I attended a concert at Klipsch Music Center outdoor venue. We saw Brad Paisley, as well as Scotty McCreery and The Band Perry who opened up for him. For those of you who don't know, all of them are country singers. Alex and I got to see Brad two years ago and he was just as good the second time around! Scotty McCreery was the winner of the last season of American Idol and he did a nice job. The Band Perry was good as well. Usually whenever I go to shows at Klipsch, I sit on the lawn, but Mom was nice enough to buy us tickets in the pavillion so we got real seats!
